When/where are your live or virtual classes held?

CPMI virtual online and traditional classroom courses are led by industry experts and instructors, providing students with pertinent insurance licensing exam essentials. For Casualty, Health, Life, and Property we provide the knowledge you require to successfully prepare to pass.

We also offer Ethics continuing education to help you meet your CE requirements.

NOTE: All students who plan on taking the Illinois insurance agent licensing exam must first complete twenty hours of pre-license training per line of insurance, including 7.5 hours of approved classroom training.

How do I sign up for my State exam?

The insurance licensing testing process varies from one state to another. For information on how to sign up, please contact your local State's department of insurance.

How do I renew my license?

For additional details on your state's specific insurance license renewal and continued education requirements, please visit the National Insurance Producer Registry website NIPR.

How often do you update your materials?

We update our materials as required to ensure we provide the most up to date information as you prepare for your exams.

Purchases

Does CPMI offer a money-back guarantee?

Candidates that use our Exam Advantage study program can take advantage of our money back guarantee, with qualifying purchases only.

To receive our money-back guarantee, you must score at least an 85% on the guarantee exam (to pass is 70%), which you can take online as part of this program. CPMI instantly stores your exam results.

Take your state exam no more than three days after taking our guarantee exam. If for some reason you don’t pass the first time, contact CPMI customer support. Share your results and we will process a credit to you for the amount you spent on our course!

Courses and Credits

Are CPMI's courses approved by my State?

All of the pre-licensing and continuing education courses that CPMI provides have been approved (as required) by the necessary State Department of Insurance.

How do I complete the course?

Select Course Login and enter the username and password provided. On the left-hand side of the screen, select “Home”. Click on your state specific course which should then take you to your study materials and testing.

I've completed my course(s). How do I get my certificate? 

For Insurance Licensing and Continued Education, course completion certificates can be downloaded (as available) or will be emailed within one business day of completing your test and obtaining a passing test score.

Should you require assistance or need to request a certificate, please contact CPMI customer support and we will do our best to accommodate your expedited request.

When will my CE credits be submitted?

At CPMI we strive to submit CE credits within one business day of your course completion, Monday to Friday excluding listed holidays. Tests taken over the weekend or on a holiday will be submitted the next business day.

Should you require submission in less than one business day, please contact CPMI customer support and we will do our best to accommodate your expedited request. Please note: States require completion 5-60 days prior to renewal. Please check with your state for state specific completion time requirements.

Account Access

Where can I find my username and password?

Upon completion of your purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email within which you will find your username and password for login. If you did not receive that email, please check your Spam filter or Junk folder.

How long do I have access to the online courses I have purchased?

From the date of purchase, for Insurance Licensing courses, you have 90 days access to online insurance materials. If you would like an extension, please contact support.

For Continuing Education courses, you have access to online course(s) for one year from the date of purchase. If additional time is needed, course(s) must be purchased again for full price.
